IF: "Spotted"

I almost didn't do this one either. At least for "speed" I had some ideas knocking around in my head. I just didn't do any of them. "Spotted" left me stumped until time was almost up. I agree with TXArtcGal; enough with the freaking "Sp..." words already. Anyhow, in the end I thought of something, did it and here it is:

Click the pic for the full sized version.

I don't have a breakdown on how it was made this time either. I can say that it was made in Photoshop and that, with the exception of the curtains and the pattern on the knife handle, everything is made with vector shape layers, the "drop shadow" effect, masks and layer groups. Yay!

Any comments left here will be raised as if they were my own, taught a useful skill and then sent out into the world to make a difference. By gum.

Love the illustration and had to laugh when I clicked the link to see the illustration at FULL size... and it shrunk.
It's not nice to make monkeys mad...

Heheh. Um. Oops? It's all fixed now. Small monkey clicking leads to big monkey goodness. Thanks for letting me know, and thanks for commenting. I'm glad you liked it.

That looks like one mad monkey! I'm not gonna mess with him. This one made me laugh. Sure looks good for a last minute entry. We seem to do our best work when under pressure.

Creepy as hell! Good but that whole clown thing gave me nightmares. Seriously...nightmares!

If my wife saw that, she wouldn't sleep for a month. She's scared of clowns AND monkeys. This is like her worst nightmare come true. It should be a movie.

Hmmm...I wonder who stuck a bee in his bonnet! Great take on this week's theme...and, LOVE those spots on his face! LOL! Now I'll be watching my back, and checking my kitchen knives...to be sure he is lurking in my neck of the woods!

btw...thanks for stopping by my blog, and my new challenge. We'll see if it gets off of the ground. I really would like to find a challenge just for Photoshop users that isn't nasty.

This is so cool. I can imagine that clown monkey going crazy and taking out the circus folk. I can't wait to start delving into Photoshop more. Great job with this!
