He's so cute. The bear better watch though. I think the Eskimo waits to kill him.

I love this!!

Can I ask tho, how do you get the clean shading and colors? I've tried to draw this stuff in with the brush tool on Photoshop and it always looks like the coloring book pics you used to have as a kid with random lines coming out.

you're able to get really clean edge and color lines and I can;t work out how!! Please help??!!

This pic is terrific too!! I LOVE Polar Bears.

Take care and as always, thanks. Your piccie posts are great- I also checked out Spamapalooza and laughed my arse off!!

Take care,
~Nate.

Thanks for the comments everyone. After Heather told me that she liked the Polaroid look, I thought "Polar"oid! Awesome! Not planned, but funny to me.

Nate: I get the clean edge by not using a brush. For this style I work mostly in vector layers with occasional layer effects. You can see some of it "in action" over at my Visual Breakdown site. It may be a bit hard to follow though, so I'll put together a short video showing just what I'm talking about soon-ish and post when I do. What version of Photoshop are you using?

That would be FANTASTIC, thanks so much, Collin!!

I use Photoshop 7 right now.

I'm totally new to layers and vectors and some of the jazzier stuff so a video would be fantasic. I did check out your Visual Breakdown actually and it helped a lot but I must admit I got a little lost. I'm about to invest in Art Rage 2 tho, I can't wait to play with the metallics- thanks for the tip.

I'm grateful for all the help I can get. I'm still pretty new to using Photoshop as an animation tool but it's really where I'd like to go with it.

You're great, thanks so much for all your help. I really appreciate it.

I'm applying at colleges right now so hopefully I'll be on my shiny new degree course soon enough. I'd really like to know some of this stuff before I start tho so I have a shoe in and your advice has really helped.

Take care,
~Nate.

P.S. stupid Google is still locking me out of commenting so I apologize for the anonymous posts!!
