I gonna guess both. He is not being restrained, and has all the appearance of one who would normally faint in this kind of situation if he had not planned to be there. I'm thinking computer nerd who found a way to bring a 3d rendering to life, and has plans of using it to defeat the bullies at school.

BUT... as is so often the case, I have no doubt that if this is truely a demon, it's very nature will demand that it overthrows it's creator and master, to become the master itself.

*shrug*

Gotta love the style, though!!
