Illustration Friday: "E is for..."
I'm keeping with the "cut paper" look again for this one. I want to develop that style a bit more. I'm considering working with Heather on rewriting and illustrating a public domain fairy tale in this style and posting it a page at a time online. That's a bit down the road though, after a few other projects that I'm trying to finish. In the meantime, here's my take on this week's Illustration Friday theme. As always, comments are appreciated:

On the subject matter... I hope this is not an all-inclusive view of Christianity. There are many who understand the call to forgiveness and restoration. Not enough people read the verse AFTER John 3:16.
Suzan: Thanks!
Derek: Heheh.
Anonymous: Thank you! Finally, an Anonymous commenter that isn't spam. And you are SURE you aren't a 3-toed midget? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Don: Thanks. And no, isn't not a damning view of Christianity. I was just sitting around this weekend trying to think of an "E" word that nobody else would likely use. It was this or Evisceration, and that would not have translated to cut paper as well.
Tony: Thank you. I'll see if I can continue it for awhile. Boredom has yet to set in.
Valgalart: Thanks! That really means a lot coming from someone with your talent. I can't wait for the next topic. I'm finding that it's really helping clean some of the rust off of my drawing skills.
Don: Once you have you'll see why I decided to steer clear of it. First thoughts aren't always the best thoughts.
